$50K in futurity and incentives, through the Dixie Paint Horse futurity in Florida as well as Ark/La/Tex, Oklahoma, and Arizona, and the $12,500 incentive offered by the sire owner. She
will also be a great riding horse, with good conformation built for
riding. |
We recently rescued a registered Paint gelding named "Rocket". We are getting him back into shape and training him. He will then be for sale just for the cost of what we have put into him. He is a very cute, sweet, minimal white overo. He is 4-years-old.
May 30: Rocket comes home. He is skinny, wormy, has sand in his gut, his feet haven't been trimmed in at least a year, and his tail is one solid club!
June 2: Dr. Mayo came out to check Rocket. He gave him a full set of shots, to be followed up in a few weeks with another set. He will also float his teeth at that point. He was afraid to do everything at once, that it might throw him into shock.
June 4: Rocket had his feet trimmed by Ben today!! He did very well. He was a little timid with the whole prospect, but stood fairly still considering!!
June 23: Rocket continues to gain weight. He is also shedding like crazy! He has learned how to lunge and today he wore a bit and a surcingle for the first time!! Alexander will probably be riding him in no time.
